The rectangular buckle has a finely pebbled background and silver-colored finish, with raised architectural details depicting the castle towers, brickwork, and central gateway.

The reverse retains its belt catch, roller bar, and two fastening prongs. An attached brown leather support tab is stamped “FLECK & CO.” over “1942,” providing a clearly readable maker and wartime date marking. The tab is secured with contrasting light-colored stitching. The 1942 marking dates the leather tab; the buckle itself has no visible maker or date marking in the supplied photographs.

Good used condition with surface scratches, toning, and wear to the raised portions of the castle emblem. The pebbled texture remains well defined across much of the face. The leather tab displays age-related creasing, surface cracking, darkened areas, and edge wear, while retaining much of its stitching. The rear fastening hardware appears complete; mechanical operation has not been tested.

An interesting addition to a collection of German fire service equipment, Hamburg municipal memorabilia, or historical uniform accessories. Includes the buckle and attached leather tab shown; no full belt is included.
