This example retains its original military-style configuration with receiver, bolt assembly, trigger group, trigger guard, magazine box/floorplate assembly, and rear sight components.

The receiver is visibly marked “ERA” with serial number appearing to read 65663, along with additional military inspection/proof markings. The action shows an honest aged military finish with surface wear, scratches, handling marks, and patina consistent with long-term use and storage. The magazine box has an old green painted finish, while remnants of red and white paint are visible on the underside/floorplate area, adding some interesting period character.

The bolt, trigger, magazine assembly, and rear sight components are all present as pictured. This would be a strong candidate for a military restoration, replacement-parts assembly, or custom sporting rifle project built around the robust Model 1917 action.

U.S. Model 1917 / P17 Enfield-pattern action

ERA marked receiver

Serial number appears to be 65663

Original bolt included

Trigger assembly included

Trigger guard included

Magazine box and floorplate assembly included

Rear sight assembly present

Multiple military inspection/proof marks

FREE SHIPPING TO YOUR FFL!

#2

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0610/9229/8829/files/5901F034-7FD6-496C-A908-4179C5BD2E34.jpg?v=1791488504
https://whiskeyrebellionantiques.com/products/u-s-model-1917-enfield-p17-complete-bolt-action-eddystone-era-marked-bolt-trigger-magazine-rear-sight-assembly
