These large transmitting\/industrial vacuum tubes were designed for high-voltage rectification and were commonly encountered in heavy radio transmitters, communications equipment, industrial power supplies, and other high-voltage electronic systems.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eAll three have the distinctive large glass envelopes, top electrode caps, heavy internal plate structures, and four-pin bases. The Amperex\/type markings remain visible, although they show varying degrees of age and wear.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe tubes appear physically intact from the photographs with no obvious broken glass.
