The stamp bears a period cancellation, and the card also has a prominent illustrated \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e“Benutzt die Luftpost!” (“Use Airmail!”)\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e postal slogan featuring an airplane.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe handwritten English message describes the sender’s visit to Dresden, noting that it is a “very beautiful town,” that they had toured many interesting places, and commenting on the kindness of the local people. This gives the postcard considerably more historical character than an unused tourist card.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eCondition is good overall for its age, with expected handling and edge\/corner wear, light surface wear, and age toning.
