Antique Gold Filled Wire Rim Eyeglasses C.1905-1925 with Original Case-Wilkes Barre, PA

Offered is an original early 20th century antique pair of wire-rim eyeglasses, dating approximately 1905-1925, complete with their original velvet-lined hard case. 

The Glasses feature classic oval lenses, a thin gold-filled wire frame, and period correct cable wrap around temples. Lenses appear to be the original prescription glass. Frames remain intact. 

The original case is marked “N.E. Shapers, MD., 57 S. Washington St., Wilkes-Barre, Pa” adding desirable historical and regional interest. The interior velvet lining is present, and the exterior shows honest wear, consistent with age. 

Condition is good for an antique item over 100 items, surface wear to lenses and wear to the case. No major damage or repairs noted.
