This WWII uniform belonged to a Technical Sergeant assigned to the 82nd Airborne Division, 505th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 2nd Battalion. Here are the details:

- Right shoulder: Belgian Fourragère
- Left shoulder: Dutch Lanyard

- **Ribbons** (from inside out, top to bottom):
- Bronze Star
- Purple Heart with Oak Leaf Cluster
- **2nd Row**:
- Good Conduct Medal
- American Theater Campaign Medal
- European, African, Middle Eastern Theater Campaign Medal with:
- 3 bronze service stars for participation in 3 campaigns
- 1 bronze arrowhead for airborne combat assaults

After reviewing records and photos from the 505th, it seems likely that this jacket belonged to Technical Sergeant Charles Copping. He is featured in a photo (back row, 2nd from the end, in front of the star on the plane; his face is blacked out). **Background**:
