Original WWII U.S. Army Signal Corps Servo Amplifier AM-25/APG-5 manufactured by Galvin Manufacturing Corporation (later Motorola) under Order No. 232-DAY-DE-RA. This precision servo amplifier was designed for the APG-5 airborne radar system and features original vacuum tubes, relay assembly, adjustment controls labeled “Degeneration,” “Zero Set,” and “Slope,” along with the original multi-pin junction box connector. The chassis retains its March 23, 1945 fungicidal varnish treatment marking, an excellent wartime detail rarely seen. A desirable and highly displayable piece of WWII airborne radar equipment for advanced Signal Corps, aviation, and electronics collections. Original condition with light storage wear and untested.
