WWII U.S. Navy ID-2/APS-2 Radar Indicator / Scope Unit – Orange PPI Display

Original WWII-era ID-2/APS-2 radar indicator / scope unit, likely from the U.S. Navy/aircraft radar equipment family. The unit has a large round orange radar display face with degree markings around the outer scale, original black/gray metal housing, multiple electrical connectors, mounting brackets, and the original warning/data plates still present.

The tag is marked ID-2/APS-2, and the red warning plate reads “Warning High Voltage – Power Off Before Repair or Adjustment Within Unit.” This is a very displayable early radar scope with strong WWII aviation/radar visual appeal. The orange CRT-style face and heavy military construction make it an excellent museum, collection, or prop/display piece.
