1931 Finnish Tikkakoski M27 Mosin-Nagant – Matching Numbers – 7.62x54R

Very desirable pre-WWII Finnish Model 1927 Mosin-Nagant manufactured by Tikkakoski in 1931 and chambered in 7.62x54R. This rifle retains its correct Finnish M27 configuration, including the heavy-profile barrel, hex receiver, original military sights, full-length wood furniture, and five-round internal magazine.

This example is numbers matching, an important collector feature on Finnish M27 rifles. Matching bolt and barrel numbers are specifically regarded as desirable on these rifles and generally bring a premium over mismatched examples. 

Overall condition is good military-surplus condition with honest wear throughout. The stock has numerous handling marks, dents and finish wear consistent with a service rifle of this age. There is a small crack/damaged area in the wrist/grip portion of the stock, clearly shown in the photographs and reflected in the price. Metal retains an attractive aged military finish with typical wear and patina. Correct front and rear sights remain present.
