Excellent early-war Walther PPK manufactured in 1940 and chambered in 7.65mm Browning / .32 ACP. This is a particularly attractive example with strong original-style bluing, desirable period police markings, correct early features, and a very nice overall presentation.

The pistol bears the Eagle/C police acceptance marking, along with the Eagle/N commercial nitro proof markings visible on the slide and barrel. The inside of the slide is electric-penciled with the last three digits of the serial number matching the frame, a period-correct method seen on original examples.

It retains the desirable one-piece wraparound brown Bakelite grip, which shows normal age and handling wear but presents very well. The included magazine is marked Walther and 7.65mm and is fitted with the correct-style brown Bakelite finger-rest/pinky extension.

Condition is excellent for an 85+ year-old service pistol. The bluing remains very strong overall with scattered holster wear, handling marks, and light finish loss consistent with genuine period use. The pistol has a clean, honest appearance and retains the character collectors look for in an early police-issued PPK.
