Nice 1971-production Winchester Model 70 bolt-action rifle chambered in the classic .270 Winchester. This is a handsome vintage hunting rifle in good used condition and comes already equipped with a Burris 3-9x scope.

The rifle features a blued barreled action with a traditional walnut stock, cut checkering at the wrist and forearm, pistol-grip stock, and black recoil pad. The wood remains attractive with a warm finish and shows normal handling and hunting wear without any major damage visible in the photos. Checkering remains well defined.

The metal finish is in good overall condition with honest age and use showing primarily around the action and frequently handled areas. The bolt and controls appear clean, and the rifle retains the classic Model 70 three-position safety.

Mounted on the rifle is a Burris 3-9x variable-power scope in a conventional hunting setup. The combination of the Model 70 action, .270 Winchester chambering, and 3-9x optic makes this a quintessential American deer and big-game rifle from the early 1970s.
