Original A.W. Haydon Company timer control unit marked B-6494, housed in its original shipping/storage box. Box is hand-marked “New Chaff-Dispenser Timer Control #B-6494” and addressed to/from Waterbury, Connecticut. The unit has its original black metal case, connector, data plate, and front timing/control plate with numbered dial. This appears to be an aircraft countermeasure/electronics timing control, likely for a chaff dispensing system. Very unusual military aviation/electronics piece with strong display and research value. Untested and sold as collectible restoration/display equipment.
