Original antique Remington Arms–Union Metallic Cartridge Co. .32 Automatic Colt Smokeless center fire cartridge box with 38 rounds included. The box appears to be an early Remington-UMC/Union Metallic Cartridge Works package with old-style tan paper labeling and bilingual guarantee text on the reverse.

The box is marked “.32 Automatic Colt Smokeless”, Remington Arms–Union Metallic Cartridge Co., and appears to reference use in automatic arms chambered for the cartridge. The cartridges have round nose metal case bullets and show age-appropriate patina.

The box shows heavy age and handling wear including fading, staining, softened corners, edge wear, seam wear, and fragile flaps. Despite the wear, it is a desirable early automatic pistol ammunition collectible.
