Case Marking: A.M. KERNS, O.D.- Butler, PA

Era: Circa 1900-1920 (late Victorian/early Edwardian)

Material Frame: Likely gold-filled or nickel silver wire frame. Very typical of this period. 

Lenses: Early prescription glass lenses. 

Case: Original hard leatherette case with velvet interior.

Lenses intact, no cracking

Normal age haze/surface wear 

Nose pads present (excellent sign” 

Temple tips show wear but are complete

Case: Structurally solid. Exterior shows heavy age wear, scuffs, and finish loss. Interior is velvet, worn but intact.
