This badge displays the classic RCT insignia with an eight-point starburst design and central monogram surrounded by a wreath and regimental title. The Royal Corps of Transport served as the British Army’s logistics and transport branch from 1965 until its incorporation into the Royal Logistic Corps in 1993.

The badge is constructed of silver-tone metal and is mounted to a small backing plate with dual prongs on the reverse.
