British V.C.R. 97 Vintage Radar Cathode Ray Tube – WWII Era

Large British V.C.R. 97 cathode-ray tube with original identification markings and label. Tube is marked “VCR 97,” with the British crown/AM marking and “Made in England” on the base. Original label identifies it as Type V.C.R. 97 and specifies 4-volt filament and 2,000-volt anode. Large round phosphor screen with substantial glass envelope and original base assembly. An impressive early radar/electronics display tube with strong appeal for WWII British radar, RAF equipment, and vintage electronics collections. Appears physically intact with age-related wear and oxidation to the external fittings. Untested and sold as-is.
