Browning Auto-5 Light Twelve 12 Gauge – Belgian Made – Engraved Receiver – Gold Trigger

Very nice Belgian-made Browning Auto-5 Light Twelve chambered in 12 gauge. This is a classic Belgian Browning with the desirable lightweight configuration, factory scroll engraving, gold-plated trigger, and attractive checkered walnut furniture.

The shotgun is in good used condition overall. The bluing remains strong with scattered handling marks, light scratches, and a few small areas of finish wear visible on the receiver and metal surfaces. The walnut stock and forearm are particularly nice, retaining an attractive finish with only minor evidence of use. The forearm is intact and the wood-to-metal fit remains clean.

This example is marked “Browning Arms Company St. Louis Mo. & Montreal P.Q.” and “Made in Belgium”, with the traditional Belgian Auto-5 styling and engraving. The serial marking visible at the loading/ejection area is 1G 39445, consistent with an early-1960s Belgian Light Twelve.
