Beautiful Case XX Jim Bowie 200th Anniversary commemorative Bowie knife produced in 1990 to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the birth of legendary American frontiersman James “Jim” Bowie (1790–1836).
This impressive full-size Case fixed-blade knife features a highly polished mirror-finish Bowie blade with an etched portrait of Jim Bowie and the inscription:
“Jim Bowie
200th Anniversary
1790–1990”
The blade is additionally marked CASE XX / USA / 1836, with the 1836 date commemorating the year of Bowie’s death at the Alamo.
The knife features a large polished brass crossguard and black handle fitted with brass pins, giving it the classic appearance associated with traditional Bowie knives.
This example remains in excellent collector condition. The mirror-polished blade is exceptionally bright and clean, retaining a crisp commemorative portrait and lettering. The brass guard and handle also present very well. Please examine photographs for exact condition.
Included are the original Case presentation box with fitted insert, black basket-weave leather sheath, and original Case paperwork, making this a particularly attractive complete example for the Case collector.
