The sleeves display three chevrons with a “T” for Technician 5th Grade, indicating the rank of Staff Sergeant with a technical specialty, likely in communications or logistics. The CCC played a vital role in the CBI Theater, supporting Chinese Nationalist troops under Generalissimo Chiang Kai-shek during 1944–1945.
