Offered here is a Colt MK IV / Series 70 Gold Cup National Match pistol chambered in .45 ACP, manufactured in 1982 and presented in excellent condition with its original factory box, paperwork, and accessories.
The Gold Cup National Match was Colt’s flagship target-grade 1911, designed for competitive bullseye shooters and known for its exceptional accuracy, crisp trigger, and refined finish. This example retains its beautiful Colt blued finish, wide adjustable target trigger, Elliason adjustable rear sight, and factory checkered walnut Colt medallion grips.
This pistol has been very lightly used, showing minimal wear and maintaining sharp markings throughout.
The pistol currently has a Detonics upgraded recoil spring and guide rod system installed, a popular reliability upgrade among 1911 shooters. Importantly, the original factory guide rod and spring assembly are included, allowing the pistol to be returned to factory configuration if desired.
