East German AK-47 Bayonet with Scabbard & Frog

Period: Cold War, circa 1960s-1980s

Blade: Single Edge, spear point. Fuller on each side, with steel construction

Handle: Black phenolic grip panels. Two-screw construction; Push-button release. 

Scabbard: Steel body, black finish. Integrated wire-cutter lug

Frog: Original East German fabric frog (rare compared to leather) 

Blade shows staining and finish loss. Grip is solid with normal wear. Scabbard is worn with surface oxidation. Frog is worn. Mechanically complete.
