Excel Arms 12 Gauge Single-Shot Shotgun – Vintage Break Action

Vintage Excel Arms single-shot shotgun chambered in 12 gauge. Features a break-action design with exposed hammer, blued steel barrel, plain hardwood forend and buttstock, and traditional takedown-style construction.

This shotgun is in good used condition for its age, with an attractive aged patina and normal handling and finish wear throughout. The bore is excellent, bright and clean. The wood remains attractive with typical handling marks; however, there is a visible crack through the wrist/pistol-grip area of the buttstock, as shown clearly in the photos. This is an important condition consideration and is reflected in the price.

A classic, inexpensive vintage American single-shot that displays well and would make an interesting addition to an early sporting-shotgun collection.
