French Model 1872 Medical Officer’s Sword – Circa 1900

Elegant French military medical officer’s sword dating to the late 19th or early 20th century. Features the classic Model 1872 style brass hilt with folding guard and distinctive medical insignia to the guard panel. The grip retains its original wire wrap over shagreen, showing honest age and service wear. The straight, narrow blade has a bright appearance with light age spotting and remains well-defined.
