German Model 1908 Mauser Rifle — 7x57 Mauser — Matching Numbers

Excellent German Model 1908 Mauser rifle chambered in 7x57 Mauser. This rifle appears to be a Brazilian-contract Model 1908 Mauser, manufactured by Deutsche Waffen- und Munitionsfabriken, Berlin, with the Brazilian crest visible on the receiver ring.

This example has a very attractive full-length military stock, correct military sights, cleaning rod, and matching visible serial numbers. The bolt, receiver, and other visible numbered parts appear to match. The rifle retains a strong original military appearance with nice wood grain and honest handling marks from age and service.

A desirable early 20th-century Mauser rifle in the classic 7x57 cartridge, with matching numbers and strong collector appeal.

Condition:
Very good surplus condition overall. Wood is solid with normal handling marks. Metal shows age, patina, and light finish wear consistent with military use. Visible numbers appear matching.
