Giant Cast Iron Boot Strecher/Boot Spreader-(c.1880-1930)

Antique cast-iron “GIANT” boot stretcher or boot spreader. Designed for use with tall leather riding, cavalry, work, or fireman’s boots. The spreader opens the shaft of the boot to aid in dressing and helps maintain proper shape during storage. Features heavy cast construction, pivoting action, and raised GIANT maker’s mark. An excellent piece of footwear, equestrian, shoe repair, or country store history.

Condition:
Good antique condition with an attractive untouched patina. Pivot operates freely. Displays very well.
