H&R Model 088 Jr. 20 Gauge Single-Shot Shotgun – 3” Chamber

Harrington & Richardson Model 088 Jr. single-shot shotgun chambered in 20 gauge with a 3-inch chamber. A classic lightweight break-action H&R designed as a simple, dependable field and youth shotgun.

This example is in good used condition for its age. The metal has developed an even brown/gray patina with scattered surface oxidation and handling wear. The wood appears to have been refinished or stained at some point, giving it the unusual gray-blue coloration visible in the photos. Stock and forearm remain solid with typical handling marks. Action is the traditional exposed-hammer, top-break design.

A straightforward vintage American-made H&R that would make an inexpensive field gun or addition to an H&R collection.
