Manufactured in West Germany, the RakPz 78 was designed as a robust military signal launcher for use with illumination, signaling, and pyrotechnic cartridges and saw widespread service with NATO forces.

This example is in good used condition, showing honest service wear while remaining clean and attractive. The launcher retains its original black finish and polymer frame and is complete with its original military carrying case.

Also included are four red 26.5mm flares and four green 26.5mm flares, making this a desirable and complete display set for the military collector. The carrying case features individual storage loops for additional signaling cartridges and accessories, just as issued.
