Original Imperial German patriotic ribbon cockade bar featuring Prussian and German national colors (black, white, red). Constructed of folded cloth rosettes mounted on a felt backing with horizontal pin for wear on a tunic or coat. These cockades were commonly worn by Imperial German veterans’ organizations and patriotic societies during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. A nice period example with original pin and honest age wear.
