Excellent condition "Heritage Pride" Ithaca Gun Company 12 gauge Featherlight.

Ithaca Model 37 Featherlight in 12 gauge, featuring a special engraved receiver with an eagle and a banner reading something like "Heritage Pride" (along with "Ithaca Gun Company"). This is a dealer-promotion or commemorative-style variant, not a standard field-grade.

Bottom-ejecting pump-action: Classic Model 37 design (ejection port on the bottom of the receiver for right- or left-handed use, and it helps keep debris out).

Featherlight model: Lighter-weight version of the Model 37 with a distinctive slim receiver and often a "corn cob" or ribbed forend.

Engraved receiver: The prominent eagle engraving with "Heritage" and "Pride" text on both sides of the receiver is the key feature here. This was not a catalog/standard production option for retail sale but a special edition given to dealers who met certain sales quotas for Ithaca Model 37s. 

Wood and finish: Nice figured walnut stock and forend with a glossy finish; the metal has a blued receiver and barrel with the characteristic Ithaca look.
