Offered for sale is an early production Japanese Type 14 Nambu semi-automatic pistol, chambered in 8mm Nambu. This example is dated November 1944 (marked “19.11”)
The pistol retains a strong original finish with honest wear consistent with use, but no abuse. Metal surfaces show typical handling marks and light wear, while still presenting very well overall. The original wood grips remain in good condition with clear checkering and expected age/use wear.
All visible serial numbers are matching, including the magazine, which is a major plus for collectors and not commonly encountered on these.
The slide is correctly marked with Japanese characters “十四年式” (Type 14), confirming the model designation.
