L.G&Y Special Model 1861 .58cal Musket

Still in firable condition! Has been fired recently and has no issues doing so! Totally original exterior, it has not been scrubbed, sanded, or wire brushed. The patina on this rare find make it that much more appealing! 1862 manufactured L.G&Y special model 1861 with the 2nd pattern lock plate, unfortunately the Eagle is completely pitted out and not able to be seen. A replacement nipple has been added to the rifle.

Beautiful antique that still functions and one that is much harder to find!
