Leinad Inc. Model DD Double-Barrel Derringer – .38 Special / .357 Magnum

Interesting and somewhat unusual American-made derringer from Leinad Inc. of Ducktown, Tennessee, the company associated with the Cobray/SWD family of firearms. The Model DD was Leinad’s double-barrel derringer design, and references identify the DBD38357 version as chambered for .357 Magnum/.38 Special. 

This example has the distinctive long over/under barrel assembly, exposed hammer, manual barrel selector mechanism and compact birds-head-style grip. The barrel is clearly marked “LEINAD INC. DUCKTOWN TN” and “MOD. DD 38/357.” It retains the black Cobray-marked polymer grips with the molded “PUSH FLUSH FOR SAFE” marking.
