Notes
The Model 1893 was Marlin’s flagship sporting rifle of the black-powder to smokeless transition era. The .38-55 is one of the most desirable chamberings—popular with hunters and today’s single-shot and BPCR shooters. An 1898 production rifle with Special Smokeless Steel barrel marks is a strong example of Marlin’s early smokeless-era quality.
