Marlin Model 336 .30-30 Win – JM Stamped – Scoped – Pre-Remington Lever Action

Marlin Model 336 lever-action rifle chambered in .30-30 Winchester. This is a desirable JM-stamped Marlin, identifying it as a traditional North Haven-era Marlin rather than the later Remington-produced rifles.

Features a blued receiver, barrel and full-length magazine tube with walnut stock and forearm. Rifle has been fitted with a 3-9x variable-power scope on a receiver-mounted rail and rings. Also included is the pictured brown leather buttstock cartridge carrier/cheek piece. The large-loop lever has an added leather wrap for a comfortable grip.

Overall in good used condition. Metal retains good finish with scattered handling marks and normal wear visible around the receiver and action. Wood remains attractive with assorted light scratches, dings and handling wear from field use. No major cracks or structural damage are apparent from the photos. A very practical setup for whitetail hunting while still having the added desirability of a genuine JM-marked Marlin.
