Marlin Model 336 .35 Remington – JM Stamped – Lever Action
Marlin Model 336 .35 Remington – JM Stamped – Lever Action
Classic Marlin Model 336 lever-action rifle chambered in .35 Remington, featuring the desirable JM barrel stamp associated with original Marlin production. The .35 Remington Model 336 has long been a favorite among woods hunters and is increasingly sought after as the older JM-marked rifles become more collectible.
This example features a traditional blued finish with walnut stock and forearm. The receiver is drilled and tapped for scope mounting, while the rifle currently retains its iron sights. Other features include the tubular magazine, side-ejection action, pistol-grip stock, sling swivels, and contrasting white-line buttplate spacer.
The rifle is in good overall used condition. The walnut has an attractive color and grain with scattered scratches, small dings, and handling marks from normal use. The metal retains a good amount of its original finish with areas of finish thinning, freckling, and handling wear visible on the receiver and other high-contact areas. Overall, it presents well as an honest, used JM-era Marlin.
