Mossberg Model 46B .22 S/L/LR Bolt-Action Rifle with Vintage Weaver 4X Scope

Vintage O.F. Mossberg & Sons Model 46B bolt-action rimfire rifle chambered for .22 Short, Long and Long Rifle. The Model 46 series is one of Mossberg’s classic mid-century sporting and target .22 rifles, combining a full-length walnut stock with a tubular magazine and distinctive trigger-guard/finger-groove design.

This example is equipped with a vintage Weaver 4X fixed-power scope in period-style mounts, giving the rifle an especially attractive period configuration. It retains its tubular magazine beneath the barrel and the original-style wood stock. The metal finish remains quite good overall, with normal handling and age-related wear. The stock likewise presents well with an attractive reddish-brown finish and scattered light marks consistent with normal use.

The rifle is in good used condition overall and would make a nice vintage rimfire shooter or addition to a collection of classic American Mossberg rifles. The period Weaver optic adds both utility and collector appeal.
