Own a piece of WWII history with this U.S. Army Ike jacket, worn by a Staff Sergeant in the Advance Section, Communications Zone (ADSEC), attached to the 75th Infantry Division. Dating to 1944–1945, this jacket is a rare find for collectors and reenactors. Estimated to be a Size Medium, it offers a classic fit for display or wear, complete with a khaki dress shirt and tie.

Crafted from olive drab wool, this Eisenhower-style jacket features a short, tailored cut with shoulder epaulets, chest pockets, and a cinched waist for a sharp military look. The right shoulder displays the 75th Infantry Division patch, a red, white, and blue design with the number “75,” symbolizing the unit’s combat service in the European Theater, including the Battle of the Bulge and Rhineland Campaign. The left shoulder bears the ADSEC patch—a red circle with a white star, blue downward arrow, and chain links—representing a critical logistical unit that managed supply lines and supported frontline troops after D-Day through the war’s end. Both sleeves feature Staff Sergeant chevrons with three upward stripes in gold-on-blue embroidery. Three gold service stripes on the left sleeve indicate 18 months of overseas service, and a Ruptured Duck patch above the left pocket signifies the wearer’s honorable discharge from WWII service. A ribbon bar on the left chest includes the European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal, WWII Victory Medal, American Campaign Medal, and Good Conduct Medal, reflecting service in Europe and exemplary conduct. A Marksman badge with Carbine clasp highlights the soldier’s proficiency with the M1 Carbine, and a yellow insignia above the left pocket, likely a Quartermaster Corps emblem, adds further distinction.

This jacket is in good condition, with the wool exterior showing minor wear, including slight fading and small areas of wear around the cuffs and collar (see photos for details). All original U.S. Army buttons remain in place, and the accompanying khaki dress shirt and tie are in good condition. Perfect for a military collection or historical reenactments, this ADSEC Ike jacket, tied to the 75th Infantry Division, with its Ruptured Duck patch, ribbon bar, and Marksman badge, is a tangible link to the vital logistical support of U.S. forces in the European Theater during WWII. Don’t miss your chance to own this remarkable piece of American military heritage.
