WWII/Korean War Era U.S. Navy Dress Blue Jacket – Petty Officer First Class

For sale is an authentic U.S. Navy Dress Blue Jacket from the WWII to Korean War era (1940s–1950s), belonging to a Petty Officer First Class with over 12 years of service. This iconic dark blue wool jacket features the classic double-breasted design with gold Navy buttons, red chevrons, and a gold eagle insignia on both sleeves, indicating the rank of Petty Officer First Class (PO1). Three red service stripes on the cuffs signify at least 12 years of service, spanning the late 1930s to early 1950s. The interior bears a label from Samuel R. Kramer Naval and Marine Corps Uniforms, a renowned tailor in Honolulu, Hawaii, and Long Beach, California, adding provenance to this piece.

In very good condition for its age, the jacket shows minimal wear, with no significant tears or damage. The chevrons, service stripes, and eagle insignia are original and intact, making this a well-preserved example of the U.S. Navy’s formal uniform. Perfect for collectors of U.S. Navy militaria, especially those interested in the WWII and Korean War periods, or for display as a symbol of naval tradition.
