For sale is an authentic U.S. Army M-65 Field Jacket, complete with its original quilted liner, manufactured under a 1978 contract (DLA100-78-C-2604). This iconic cold-weather jacket, in classic olive green (OG-107), features the standard M-65 design: four large cargo pockets with snap flaps, shoulder epaulets, a front zipper with storm flap, and drawstrings at the waist and hem for a snug fit. The detachable hood is stored in the collar (not deployed in photos). The quilted liner, marked with the contract details, provides warmth and versatility, making this jacket suitable for cold and wet conditions.

Produced in the late Cold War era, this M-65 would have been issued to soldiers training in the U.S., stationed in Europe, or deployed to regions like South Korea during the late 1970s. The M-65 design, first introduced in 1965, became a symbol of U.S. military history during the Vietnam War and beyond, gaining fame in popular culture through films like Taxi Driver (1976) and First Blood (1982). This example, in size Medium, is in very good condition with no visible tears, heavy stains, or fading. The zipper and snaps are fully functional, and the liner is intact, making this a complete and well-preserved piece. Perfect for collectors, reenactors, or anyone seeking a piece of military history with practical use.
