Norinco / Chinese Type 56 SKS – 7.62x39 – Triangle 386 Arsenal – Matching Numbers – Original Magazine Included

Very attractive Chinese Type 56 SKS rifle chambered in 7.62x39mm, identified by the Triangle 386 arsenal marking. This example is in excellent used condition and presents considerably better than many surplus Chinese SKS rifles encountered today.

The rifle retains its traditional hardwood stock and military-pattern configuration with approximately 20-inch barrel, hooded front sight, adjustable rear sight, cleaning rod, and folding bayonet mounting hardware. Metal finish remains strong overall, while the wood shows only normal scattered handling marks and minor impressions consistent with a surplus rifle.

A major plus is that the serialized components are matching, and the rifle also includes its original matching-style fixed magazine. It is photographed with an aftermarket detachable magazine installed, but the original magazine accompanies the rifle, allowing the next owner to retain the more desirable original configuration.

The bore is described as excellent, with strong rifling and a clean appearance. Fit and overall presentation are very good. The arsenal marking, matching numbers, original magazine, and excellent bore make this a particularly appealing example for the Chinese SKS collector.
