Original period black-and-white photograph depicting a group of German uniformed officers and officials during an organized visit to Bruges, Belgium, during the Third Reich era. The men are shown walking through the historic Markt area accompanied by other uniformed personnel and surrounded by a large civilian crowd.

The location is identifiable through the commercial buildings visible in the background, including the Patisserie P. Lippens F. Joye storefront associated with Bruges’ Markt. The photograph provides an unusually clear view of several German uniforms, peaked caps, insignia, belts, breeches and boots, making it particularly interesting for collectors studying German military and political uniforms of the 1930s.

The image predates or dates very near the beginning of World War II rather than depicting the later German occupation in a typical combat setting. The presence of a sizable civilian crowd and multiple officials suggests an official delegation, ceremony, international gathering or organized visit.

The reverse retains original period stamps and handwritten collection markings. The photograph has scalloped edges typical of European photographic prints from this era.

Condition: Good original condition with moderate handling and surface wear, small scratches and age-related discoloration. Image remains sharp enough to show considerable uniform and architectural detail. Reverse markings remain present.
