Unmarked k98 bayonet WWII
Unmarked k98 bayonet WWII
Original WWII-era German K98 Mauser bayonet with matching style steel scabbard. This example appears to be an unmarked or heavily worn production piece, likely field-used and later arsenal cleaned. Bayonet retains its original wood grip panels, functioning release button, and classic K98 profile.
Blade remains bright with visible sharpening and honest service wear. Metal surfaces show age, oxidation, and handling marks consistent with wartime use. Scabbard retains original finish with patina and wear from storage and field carry.
Pommel marked “AT57.” No visible maker code or Waffenamt markings observed in the provided photos. Scabbard appears unnumbered/mismatched to the bayonet.
A solid original WWII German militaria piece that displays well and would fit nicely into any K98, Wehrmacht, or WWII edged weapons collection.
