Original WWII-era Frequency Meter-Monitor Type 230-B, manufactured by Link Radio Corp., New York, N.Y. This unit is housed in its original military-style carry case and includes the removable frequency meter/monitor unit, interior schematic/chart panel, graph paper/chart sheet, power cord, connector, and a boxed set of vacuum tubes.

The main unit has a clean olive-drab front panel with large precision tuning dial, XTAL and V.O. switches, phone jack, fuse, power switch, and indicator lamp. The interior case lid retains a printed schematic and calibration/frequency chart dated 11-29-40, giving this piece excellent early WWII/prewar military electronics appeal. The included tube set adds strong restoration/display value.

This is a great piece for collectors of WWII communications equipment, Signal Corps/radio test gear, Link Radio equipment, vacuum tube electronics, and early frequency monitoring instruments.

Condition: Vintage surplus condition. Untested and sold as-is. Case and unit show age, scratches, scuffs, paint wear, oxidation, leather handle wear, and storage marks. Tubes are included as shown but have not been tested. May require service, calibration, or repair before use.
