The document was issued on November 12, 1942 by the Polizeipräsident in Bochum (Police President in Bochum), 1st Police Precinct, during the height of World War II.

This complete identity card retains its original portrait photograph, handwritten entries, fingerprints, official revenue stamp, and multiple crisp police ink stamps bearing the Third Reich eagle.
