Issued by the Arbeitsamt Siegen on July 12, 1944, this authentic wartime labor book documents the employment history of Gerhard Becker, born September 3, 1929, in Leopoldsfeld, Kreis Siegen. The booklet features the original Third Reich cover with Reich eagle and swastika, official government issue information, employment entries, stamps, and signatures spanning the closing months of World War II and the early postwar years.

Included is the original studio portrait of Becker in wartime German military uniform, produced by Photo Hergeröder of Bielefeld, making this a desirable matched document-and-photograph set.
