Offered here is an original World War I U.S. Army Model 1911 .45 caliber double magazine pouch in very nice condition.

This example is constructed of khaki canvas and features the correct dual lift-the-dot snap closures on the front, with individual compartments for two magazines. The reverse is clearly stamped:

“P.B. & Co. 1918 A.E.F.”

indicating manufacture by P.B. & Co. (Plant Bros. & Co.) in 1918 for the American Expeditionary Forces during WWI.

Condition:

• Original, solid WWI-era canvas with good color
• All snaps present and functional
• No major tears or repairs
• Light age/use wear consistent with service
• Markings are strong and legible
