Vintage Raytheon 2J55 magnetron tube assembly, made in U.S.A., complete with its heavy permanent magnet structure and mounting hardware. Clearly marked “2J55” and “Raytheon Made in U.S.A.” Magnetrons of this type were microwave-generating vacuum tubes used in early radar and related high-frequency electronic equipment. An impressive original radar component with exposed glass tube construction and substantial magnet assembly. Shows age and storage wear as pictured. Untested and sold as-is.
