Offered here is a vintage Remington Model 14½ Pump-Action Rifle, manufactured in the early 20th century. The barrel is marked with the Remington Arms–Union Metallic Cartridge Co. roll stamp and Pedersen’s patent dates, showcasing its historic design pedigree.

This rifle features:

  • Caliber: .38-40 Winchester (.38 WCF), a classic chambering highly popular in lever-action rifles and revolvers of the era.
  • Design: John D. Pedersen’s unique spiral magazine tube, preventing bullet tip contact and allowing safe use of pointed cartridges.
  • Action: Smooth pump/slide action with grooved walnut forearm and straight walnut buttstock.
  • Sights: Adjustable rear sight and blade front sight.

Receiver looks to have a high quality refinish.

The Remington Model 14½ was produced between 1913 and 1934 in limited numbers, and examples in .38-40 caliber are particularly desirable. Its unusual design, limited production, and classic chambering make it a standout collectible among early Remington rifles.
