Remington Model 510 Targetmaster – .22 Caliber Smoothbore – Uncommon Factory Variation – Vintage Single-Shot Bolt Action

Offered here is a beautiful vintage Remington Model 510 Targetmaster chambered for .22 caliber shot cartridges and featuring the considerably less common factory smoothbore barrel.

Unlike the standard rifled Model 510, this variation was manufactured with a smooth barrel specifically intended for .22 rimfire shotshells. These unusual Remington smoothbore models have developed a following among collectors of vintage American rimfire firearms.

This example displays attractive blued steel, a traditional hardwood sporting stock, and the unmistakable lines of Remington’s classic Targetmaster series.

The rifle appears to remain in very good used cosmetic condition, with attractive metal finish, minor handling marks, and some light wear to the stock consistent with age. The bolt assembly also displays interesting coloration. Overall, it presents very nicely for a vintage sporting firearm.
