Remington Model 58 Sportsman 16 Gauge Semi-Auto – Engraved Receiver – Adjustable Accu-Choke

Remington Model 58 Sportsman semi-automatic shotgun chambered in 16 gauge. This is a sharp-looking example of Remington’s early gas-operated autoloader, featuring the distinctive Model 58 receiver and attractive factory-style game-scene engraving.

The shotgun is in good used condition overall. The blued metal retains a nice appearance with normal handling and use wear. The walnut stock and forearm have a rich reddish-brown finish with checkering and show scattered handling marks consistent with a field-used shotgun.

This example has been fitted with an adjustable Accu-Choke/Poly-Choke-style muzzle system, marked with settings including Extra Full, Full, Modified and Slug, allowing the shooter to adjust constriction without changing choke tubes. Barrel is marked for 16 gauge, 2 3/4” or shorter shells.

A neat vintage Remington autoloader in the increasingly desirable 16-gauge chambering, with the adjustable choke making it a versatile classic field gun.
